Released in March 2020, this model pays homage to Michael Jordan's alma mater, the University of North Carolina (UNC). It was originally inspired by a 2018 "Player Exclusive" (PE) version created for UNC athletes and staff, but was later released to the public with a major change: the university's logo on the tongue was replaced with the signature Jumpman logo.
